St. Paul, Minn. (May 1, 2013) – ChiroCare, the largest independent network of credentialed chiropractors in the upper Midwest, has launched Spinal Viewpoint, a blog housed on the newly-updated ChiroCare website.

Spinal Viewpoint is an online hub for not only the latest in chiropractic news, but also for expert commentary on healthcare networks and reform, healthcare insurers and payers and strategies for encouraging patient-centered care. Primarily written by CCMI CEO Tabatha Erck and Chief Clinical Officer Vivi-Ann Fischer, DC, the blog provides a forum to discuss how chiropractic care and other specialties fit into the healthcare system to engage patients and improve wellness.

Spinal Viewpoint – which covers topics including chiropractic research, collaborative patient care trends and health reform in the Affordable Care Act era – will be of special interest to chief medical officers and senior executives at health insurance companies and payers. Among the first blog posts on Spinal Viewpoint: “Debunking The Myth That All Care Begins with a Primary Care Doctor” and “My 3-Minute Take On Where Chiropractic Is Heading,” by Dr. Vivi-Ann Fischer.

Aiming to be the most robust information resource on chiropractic and its relation to healthcare systems, Spinal Viewpoint posts are original and its writers welcome requests from the media for interviews.
