QConnect B & C Tier Assignments

Fulcrum Health appreciates the time you and your clinic has spent during the education phase of our new UM program, QConnect. To keep us moving on the journey to value-based payment the adoption phase of our roll out will begin on February 1st, 2019.

On 2/01/2019, we begin the Adoption phase of the three phase roll out:

Phase I – Education

  • Read the FAQ on the Learning Hub thoroughly
  • Competed the progress steps on the QConnect Learning Hub
    • Create QConnect login
    • Review training video, FAQ, and manual with your clinic
    • Enter clinic notifications and authorizations into QConnect

Phase II – Adoption

  • Required to use QConnect for Initial Notification
  • Required to use QConnect for Ongoing Treatments Requests
  • Voluntary reporting of OATs to support initial and ongoing treatment until February 18th.
  • Required reporting of OATs to support initial and ongoing treatment as of February 19th.
  • Refer to QConnect Learning Hub as needed

Phase III – Performance

  • Required to use QConnect for Initial Notification
  • Required to use QConnect for Ongoing Treatments Requests
  • Required to use OAT’s to support ongoing treatment
  • Refer to QConnect Learning Hub as needed

Please note: Medicaid patients are exempt from this process at this time.

Adoption Phase – B & C Tier Assignments

Starting 2/01/2019 – What does it mean for my clinic?

  • Read the enclosed FAQ thoroughly
  • Prior authorizations are now required for initial notifications and ongoing treatment request
  • Beginning 02/19, required reporting of OATs, we encourage reporting of OATs immediately to support initial and ongoing treatment decisions
  • Continue billing for medically necessary services
  • Please use Fulcrum’s QConnect Learning Hub as a resource to answer questions, download assessments, access the training video and manual, to help integrate QConnect into your clinic
  • Please note: If your QConnect account has not been accessed in more 30 days, your account will be deactivated to protect health plan members.  Please login routinely.

The adoption phase begins 2/01/2019 and on this date you should submit initial notifications and ongoing treatment requests into QConnect, and Fulcrum Health will continue service monitoring. 

Providers: All ChiroCare Connect resources — including claims — can be found within the new Fulcrum Provider Portal.
